Quilt Racks

Lighthouse Quilters Guild has 100+ quilt racks for rent!

Each rack is comprised of a wooden upright and a metal pole. Each upright has loops of webbing attached which hold the pole at 93” above the floor. Some also have webbing attached for a pole to be positioned 50” from the floor. The wooden upright has a base made of plywood cross-pieces which hold it up. One of the cross-pieces is removable, making storage easier. Each pole is 10’ long (120 inches). We also have panels of black fabric that can be used as partitions or as background for smaller items (that are pinned on). Each black fabric panel is 42” wide and 92” long.

Quilt Rack rental fees

• $1.00 per day for each wooden upright (with 1 pole)
• $.50 per day for each additional pole
• $.50 per day for each panel of black fabric

‘Per Day’ means a period between 1 hour and 24 hours (25 hours is 2 days).

There is a $100 minimum charge per event (equivalent to renting 25 poles for 4 days).

There is a $100 security deposit per event. The security deposit will be used, if necessary, to repair or replace any damaged equipment. If there is no damage, the security deposit refund will be mailed back after the event and after the equipment is checked back into the storage location. Sample costs for replacement parts are $20 per upright, $6 per black fabric panel, $15 per 1” pole, and $10 per 3/4” pole. Bent poles require replacement.

Delivery services can be arranged if needed. At this time, delivery charges will include the cost of a rental truck and gasoline plus an hourly rate per person doing the delivery.
