2009 Lighthouse Legacies Quilt Show
Thank You to All
Thank you...thank you...thank you to anyone who worked 2 hours, 1 day, 5 days, or 9 months!
We had 94 members and 20+ non-members volunteer to pull off a successful quilt show. Total attendance was approximately 1150 people. Our best ever!
One comment was that it was better than Quilt Expo in Madison; another said it was the best local show they had ever visited; and yet another said that Lighthouse Quilters really outdid themselves.
Great quilts, great people, great vendors, great food, great volunteers...yes we all worked together to make this the spectacular show that it was.
Kudos to everyone!!!

To All Who Attended
On behalf of the Lighthouse Quilters Guild, we want to thank everyone who attended our Lighthouse Legacies Quilt Show on October 10-11 at Case High School.
We hope everyone enjoyed the talents of our amazing quilters, the shopping, and the food we had for sale. We had a lovely raffle quilt that was won by Lynn Vassh from Franksville and a useful cutting table that was won by Tammy VanderBloomen from Two Rivers, WI.
Many of you voted for the Viewers Choice Award, which was won by Sandra Blott for her quilt, Woodland Creatures. Some of you purchased your own small wall hanging or home accessory from the Sklba Challenge Silent Auction, which benefited colon cancer through Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints, Racine.
The attendance at the quilt show was great, and the staff at Case High could not have been more helpful. We also appreciate the support of the local businesses and media who helped promote our event. We thank you all!
