Quilt Show Challenge

The 2007 Light House quilt show will feature two quilt challenges for anyone who is interested in participating.

2007 Crayon Color Challenge

Thank you for participating in the 2007 Lighthouse Legacies FREE Crayon Color Challenge. Please refer to the rules below. Any questions, contact Nancy Wilant at 414-281-7078 or Barb Vallone at 262-639-8185.

1. If you take one, you are required to make one.
2. No switching colors with other participants! All crayons will be numbered. Whatever number you pick, we will akd for your name, phone, number and/or email.
3. The Crayon Color Challenge quilt must use at least 50% or more of your crayon color; be quilted and bound; and have the crayon attached to the bottom. Since you are the artist, please sign your name.
4. Size options are 12”x12” or 8”x10” – this one can be horizontal or vertical.
5. All Crayon Color Challenge quilts will be included in the Silent Auction at the 2007 Lighthouse Legacies quilt show and all proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Research in Racine at All Saints Cancer Center.
6. Finished Crayon Color Challenge quilts are to be given to Barb Vallone or Nancy Wilant no later than September 24, 2007.
7. The highest bid in the Silent Auctoin will receive a prize.

2007 Stars In My Eyes Quilt Challenge

What dazzles you and sparks your creativity? Put that in a quilt that is at least 30” x 30” and no larger than 40” x 40”. You must use at least 2/3 of each fabric included with this packet. You may add as many other fabics or embellishments as you wish. The finished product must be a quilt (three layers” and will be displayed at the next LHQ show.
